It's all semantics. You're having a first meeting with somebody that may or may not lead to a romantic relationship. Just split the bills and leave any kissing for future times, and there will be no pressure.
Your parents would probably call it a date, but the "Sex in the City" girls probably wouldn't. Call it whatever you want, just have fun together with her.

I wouldn't meet someone who posted an ad on this craig's list saying they were a girl. It might be some serial killer or some f-ag.
Meet in a public place at least.
