This guy and I have been flirting for a while and one day after talking for about 3 hours straight he told me I was very pretty, had so much going for me and could have any guy I wanted. Without thinking, I said well I just got out of a relationship so I was not looking for a guy. After the call I realized he probably thought I meant that I was not interested in him. I am very much attracted to him but although he is still friendly but has stopped flirting. I feel if I continued flirting I would be giving mixed signals and confuse him. Should I tell him how I feel or leave it alone?

Cupid, You are all too assuming and must always think the worst of people. What ego?? I wasn't playing games with him. I was telling him the truth, I do need some time to myself. I'm sorry you can't understand that. However, that doesn't mean that I am not attracted to him or that I can't flirt! The only reason I am asking this question is because I don't want to make it worse. I care about him and want to be completely honest!

Yes I would tell him. He may have gotten scared off with the whole not looking for a new guy. Start off with being friends and take it slowly. It might lead to romance, might not.

Yep! You did give him that signal of I'm not looking and I'm not attractive to you by saying, "I was not looking." Doh! What's wrong with you? Why did you even say that if you liked him???? I feel bad for the guy. I hope he finds another girl who doesn't play games or have a stupid ego like yours. Why do I say you have a stupid ego? Think about why you said what you said. It's to make yourself look good or like you're too good to be looking or something to that degree, isn't it? So yeah, he deserves better and you don't deserve him. Sorry to be blunt but it's the truth. Go find some jerk with ego as big as yours. Good luck.

Flirting with him and then telling him that you are not looking for a guy does send mixed signals. I think you need to help him understand what you really want. Be clear and straightforward.

He probably was up all night thinking how to tell you that he liked you the next day. I think you should tell him how you feel.

gonna have to check with Lord Kenny first...
see if he'll give you permission to get together
with one of his 'boys'.

otherwise, he might just tell Lord Tan.

and trust me, being a woman, you do NOT want
Lord Tan coming after you.

no woman does.

Definetly tell him how you feel. He will appreciate it. Otherwise, you might miss out on a great opportunity.
