What is it, one of those TomToms? The coordinates for the road don't exactly match the map in the device. Mine always tells me to make a u-turn before I make the left onto my road.

A GPS will often times look for the fastest route, It uses Millage to make this determination. Sometimes if you get on the off-ramp and then get back on the on-ramp the millage is less, the problem is obviously it takes more time. Just a glitch in some systems. I would recommend that you attempt to update your GPS system.

Probably because the people that write the program for the GPS unit are the same people that write the manuals for various electronic devices.

sumtimes those things malfunction,so
either get it fixed,or just deal wit it!!!
