Tryptophan is an amino acid and essential in human nutrition. It is one of the 20 amino acids in the genetic code (codon UGG). Only the L-stereoisomer appears in mammalian protein, however the D-stereoisomer is occasionally found in natural materials (for example, the marine venom peptide contryphan.

Tryptophan, I think.
"An essential amino acid, C11H12N2O2, formed from proteins during digestion by the action of proteolytic enzymes. It is necessary for normal growth and development and is the precursor of several substances, including serotonin and niacin."
You over fill your stomach.
This drains blood from the head for the use of digestion and makes the liver work harder.
Blood glucose spikes and impairs mental function. i.e. you get sleepy.
