No the "Best Answer" does not mean its the correct answer. It means that the person asking the questions happens to like that one the best. If its voted on, sometimes the best answer is determined by only one vote. Answers is not an encyclopedia of facts! Just FUN.

I've seen best answers that I know for sure are incorrect, and I've seen good answers given poor ratings by other readers. Some folks here ask a question and they know the answer they want to see regardless of whether or not it's a good accurate answer. That's the one they'll choose. Others vote for their own answers and it gets chosen as best even though it might be wrong.

Most chose answers that fit what they want!
Correct or incorrect has nothing to do with it!
Here it would be nice if some special Divine Holy judge could read all questions and select the right answer or most correct, or even non of the above.
Then you could really learn something.
Oh well I'll keep dreaming

No, I see this all the time. Someone asks a Biblical question If give people a million texts from the Bible saying one thing and someone else gives their opinion, which contradcits scripture without any proof they get the "best answer". People mostly choose answers that they want to hear.

Nitpicking should not be finished; all of us sin in small issues regular, and being a busybody is while in comparison with being a murderer in scripture. whether, if it concerns extreme sin, then it is going to be noted. Ephesians 5: 10 save on making advantageous of what's suitable to the Lord; 11 and give up sharing with [them] interior the unfruitful works that belong to the darkness, yet, fairly, additionally be reproving [them], a million Timothy 5:20 Reprove earlier all onlookers persons who prepare sin, that something additionally would have concern.. . . mutually as the above have been guidelines to Elders and Ministerial Servants / deacons, it is evident that all of us ought to help in warning people who being Christian fall into extreme sin. (deacons: Wikipedia: The be conscious "deacon" is derived from the Greek be conscious diakonos (????????),[a million] it is a usual historic Greek be conscious meaning "servant", "waiting-guy", "minister" or "messenger ) it is not as much as you to forgive individuals's sin except they have been against you. it is for prayer and repentance, possibly confession to the congregation, etc.

Well, in this section in particular, it's usually not a matter of correct or not, but who agrees with the questioner's point of view.
And yes, I sincerely hope that there isn't anyone out there taking "best answers" as automatically true.

we often choose an answer base on what we agree with and what we want to hear, whether its true or false. It just a way to see if anyone else really agrees with the way the individual really thinks or feels.

Do you really think that people who want one serious, accurate answer are coming here to find it? That's what Google's for. People come here because they're seekers. Seekers shuffle through and sift and sort answers to best match their life.

I do research to give great answers. Most often a stupid answer gets picked. Not sure why people waste their time if they are not serious.
