My cat does this thing were she will lay right infront of me lay on her back with her paws up inthe air and she will just stare at me, why does she do this? Does she just want attention? When I get up to rub her stomach she jumps up and runs away sometimes......anyone know why my cat does this?

Mine lays on his back with his paws in the air too. If I ask him if he's comfy, he gives me thins look like I wouldn't lay this way if I wasn't. Silly cat.

Cats are playful animals. Maybe she wants some attention. Well, that's what most cats do, especially female cats. Don't rub the stomach of your cat. They don't like it i think. I cuddle my cat on it's head somewhere above it's nose, or sometimes, on it's chin.

I certainly have 3 great cats one is an 11 month kitten, my 2 adult males (kitten and person) snore while 'meditating' asleep with front legs tucked under head or while curled up interior the smallest balls that they are in a position to get into. my queen basically snores while curled up. i think of it truly is enormously wide-spread as my lot have snored considering small kittenhood. i does no longer concern. yet you will possibly desire to consistently ask your vets what they think of. my vets mentioned, once I asked approximately and mentioned alll mammals snore.

Probably just wants attention. Cats normally don't lile having their belly rubbed, but they will do wierd things for attention. She's also being submissive. Telling you that she trusts and loves you.

My kittens sleep like that all the time. But when they do it when they're awake they want to play and have their tummy rubbed. If she is running she probably just wants to be near you, wants to play, or probably just comfortable.
Cats can be very hard to understand at times.

my cat does this alll the time!! turns out its the most relaxed position and means she feels completely safe around you...as others said to expose her belly. which is her vulnerable area.
i've had her sleep like that too. and when i come to pet her belly she glares at me. it just means she trusts you and is just enjoying herself. so its a good thing!!

my cats do that regular, & they do it i think for 2 reasons...1. to let air on there tummy when they warm & 2. they just are relaxed.

It's a submissive stance. It means she trusts you enough to lay in a vunerable position in front of you.

i think it's a sign of wanting to play. buy her a cat knip toy or a dingle bell for her to play with you... cat's love those kinds of things! good luck!
