There's this girl I fancy that I'm not sure fancies me. She also my best mate's ex and I'm quite good friends with her brother (who is 18, 4 years older than me). Plus, I've been goo friends wth this girl since I was 5. Should I ask her out an if I do, how do you think she will react?

How long has it been since your best friend and the girl broke up?? If it's been under 6 months or they are still in the break up entanglement you could loose your best friend by asking the girl out. You are 14 years old so there is still quite a bit of time to date this girl while you are still in high school. Wait the allotted 6 months. Tell your best friend you are gonna ask her out and go for it. The worst that can happen is she can say no. But if done in the proper manner and after a proper waiting since her last break up time, even a not will not damage any friendship you may have with her.

Well it does seem complicated, but before making any decisions think about what the people around, who r involved will feel about this. As u said this girl is ur best friends ex..so du think he'll be ok with u dating her? And im sure the girl's brother wouldnt mind, u shud get his thoughts in it too. And after all this have a look at how u truely feel about her. If u think its worth it and it'll be a great long term relationship, then go for it. Tell this girl how u feel. She may react in many ways, but im sure she'll be happy.

Mate, be true to your feelings and ask her out. I know it's a huge step and things will never be exactly the same as they are now again once you've asked but at least you'll know. It may be the start of a great relationship, and the only way it'll ever happen is if you take the initiative here. From experience when I was your age, if you bottle your feelings for this girl it'll really hurt you if she starts with another boyfriend and you havent at least told her how you feel. Good luck!

I am assuming you are 14. Go to your best mate and ask if he would have a problem with you hookin up with his ex. If you have been good friends with this girl that you fancy than you should already have a feeling of where you stand with her. Go on a group date with her and spend tiime talking with her. hang out with her and gradually see how the relationship progresses. I am assuming she is 14 and trust me if she thinks you are a dork she will let you know.

If she is your best friends ex, how will he react?
If he does not care then ask her out. Since you have known her for so long and you are friends with her brother she may see you as a brother.

OK you need to ask her out because even if she like loves you she wont ask you out. And if she doesn't like you then she will say no and you can quite worrying and move on to some one else.
