TODAY I WAS ON MY BF PC IN I FIND A SUICIDE NOTE ? I ASK HIM ABOUT ? HE IS BIPOLAR IN HE HAD TO HAVE A PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION IN THEY KEEP HIM FOR 36 HOURS IN GIVE HIM MORE MED TO TACK IN HE STOP TACK ALL OF THEM. WHAT DO I DO ? HELP ME HELP HIM

First stop wasting time and call 911 or your local mental health access number, the suicide note is enough to 5150 him, he need medical attention but he needs someone to make the first step you dont want to wait too long for him to make good on his plan if he has one, even if he doesn't want to kill himself it sounds like he still needs to get back on his meds
and please dont listen to the idoit that told you to leave him cause he is bring you down, what would you want someone to do if it was you

Ok most "manics" go through that makeing a suicide note because there so down that there thinking about killling them selves. First thing is DONT PANIC!!....if you confront him about it he's gonna say why are you snooping around my stuff...yada yada yada, if you are a blunt person and you really wanna do that go ahead just do it calm and colective dont cry just be strong....make sure he see's that you really do care and you dont wanna loose him to this "demon" as i put it. To me the best support is my girlfriend, not my moms, not my best friend, my girl. but like i said just dont panic and just show true compassion for him and let him know if he does do something like this what he will be looseing if he's anything like me he would wake up and understand

Your BF needs a doctor. If he is not taking his mediction then he is in a state of instability. He probably is all over the palce in his emotions. IF he is talking about suicide and he has a plan, he needs immediate hospitalization to stabilize him. Do not take chance....have him speak with his psychiatrist IMMEDIATELY. If their is non availabl...he sould go to the emergency room

First of all, this is a way to important problem for you to expect resolvation on a yahoo site..
Alert his parents, and they will alert his doctor.. he needs to be taken care of by proffesionals.
Don't expect benefic answers from the kids that are playing here on Yahoo Answers..

You should tell someone who can help him. My friend has manic depression and paranoia - if I found something like that it'd be really dangerous. I know he might be angry but better an angry friend than a dead one. Obviously you were worried to go through his things anyway, right?

You didn't tell me if he lived alone or with family. I would let his family know for sure especially if he lived at home with his parents. I would let them know if he did not live at home. If you don't have their number and he won't tell you, then I would either call the police, or get his doctor's name off his prescription bottle and call him.
