I need to lose at least 5-8 pounds in a little less than a month, is that possible, how should I go bout this?

That is possible and very doable. Most diets recommend a maximum weight loss of 2 lbs per week. Fastest way to lose is to take in 7000 less calories per week than you are expending through activity and exercise. Or to expend 7000 more calories per week than you are taking in. 1 lb = 3500 calories. Drink lots of water and walk 30 minutes per day. Do strength training 3 times a week. Lunges, squats, dumbbells, crunches etc.

Not to be mean or anything but it isn't Rocket Science. Eat healthy foods and get an exercise program going. Consume less than what you're going to burn off exercising. Good luck.

Id do things the senisble way, just limit what you eat, make sure you eat a breakfast, cut out all snacks or replace them with fruit, have a dinner and small supper just try and swap most things for cucumber or salad or fruit to snack on.. Best of luck xxx

Cut your calories. I cut my cals to 1500 or less a day for about two weeks and I lost 11 pounds. I also only drank water. I ate fruit for sancks and mostly sandwiches and other low cal things for meals. If you eat those Lean Cuisine meals it helps you track your cals easily.

I've always said that it is not how much you eat, but WHAT you eat.

Eat regular meals, stay away from junk food. If you need a snack, try something healthy and excercise and drink plenty of water.
