Do you ever feel all these religions are committing crime against mankind by doing brain wash? Every religion has its own principles and its own story. They have justification of all wrongs they did in past and excuse for every stupid thing they are doing today. They all are against each other and condemn each other. Don’t you ever feel like setting yourself free of all these chains and fly high in sky which we called life? Can’t humanity survive without religion? Cant a person be just beautiful, wise and good by heart without being religious. You may answer in yes or no also.

With or without religion the same injustice, war, crime, atrocities will continue. If you think that religion is the cause you are missing the bigger picture and settling on an easy (and incorrect) answer. We fight wars over natural resources (space for our populace, food, farmland, oil, gold, etc…) and freedom to choose how to live or when those things are threatened. All of it is created by selfishness and greed. Religion just happens to be an easy way for the leaders to whip the masses into a frenzy to fight for these things. If religion disappeared tomorrow ALL the problems would remain we would just do it using a different excuse.

Oh, please.

You have a good point in there somewhere, but using phrases like "crime against mankind" and "brain wash" undermines it almost completely.

Look. There is no god, and religions are false. But they are not that different from many other false beliefs that people have that guide their behaviors. Many of the people who do evil in the name of religion would find some other name to do it in (communism, white power, ad nauseum) if religion weren't there.

A person can be beautiful, wise and good without being religious, but throwing around worlds like "brainwashing" is not going to demonstrate that fact to anyone.

Religion is the last thing the world needs. What is more beneficial is a spiritual connection to the Creator (insert your own here). Religion is a fear-based attempt to dominate, control, and extort money.

religion itself is not bad. the religious leaders however may be a different story. Possibly humanity could survive life w/o religion, but what about the life after death? If you do not believe, that is fine too. But that doesn't mean the rest of us are brainwashed. We just chose a different set of beleifs.

All organized religions were created for one thing- control of the masses. Money and power are very alluring traits.

If religions had any integrity they would not make impressionable children part of their religion but would wait until they were adults who could decide for themselves.
