He could forgive sins because the Father gave Him all power when He was sent to earth. He had the power to cure the sick, heal the lame, make the blind see and to raise the dead. While on the cross, He had the power to call down a Host of Angels to take Him off, but he chose to stay on the cross because God had asked Him to.

Jesus could (and still can/does) forgive sins because He is the Son of God and at the same time He is God... because of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). If you need more information I would suggest you read a book that can give you more insight on this, and other Christian matters. Its the Bible. Trust me, all the answers are sitting in that book. You may have to read it a couple of times before you get all the answers, just because with every time you read it, more questions arise that can only be answered by reading the Bible again. You could start slowly, just by reading a book in the Bible that interests you. Or, start from the beginning!

He was given the authority to do so by his father, God.
Note the account of the paralyzed man, to whom Jesus said, "Your sins are forgiven," when he healed him. The Jewish religious leaders thought he was blaspheming, thinking only God could forgive sins. So, Jesus showed them that he had been given the authority to do so. Matthew 28:1-18
What authority was he given?
All power (authority) in heaven and earth. Matthew 28:19,20
To do judging. John 5:27 So, he can judge people.

Because Jesus was a human on earth and knew that sin is one way humans learn as they live. Not that humans need to commit every sin, but humans do need to repent from each and ever sin they commit, from the smallest on to the larger sins they have committed. Sinning or making mistakes is human because we do not know it all. We do not ever know everthing. Doubt and not knowing is very human, but in time we can find or comprehend the beginning of faith. And faith is a vital form of knowing. Faith, not belief, faith is the knowing we need, want, search for and desire. Faith is the way to know.

We all have the capacity to do that. We are all made in our Creator's image. Supposedly, a sin against another is also a sin against God. Whatsoever you do ... When you forgive another, how is that different?

Because Jesus died for our sins. It's not comprehensible to humans because that's the way God made it.

because he had no sin....sinners (humans) put him on the cross because of sin they had...Jesus didn't really do any of the sins they were talking about- because he is sinless and he died for sinning, he chose to die for our sins
