Most answers are stupid or bigoted. Maybe people should learn about the religion before knocking it.
I, personally, think it makes more sense than Christianity because G-d is One.

Do you want an answer to your question about why ignorant people answer questions? Or do you just want to throw in your opinion that you think Islam is better than Christianity? You are free to choose your religion in America but you would not be free to choose in an Islamic country . Also you would be unable to vote or get a higher education if you are a woman. But if that is what floats your boat.

The only thing we can do is accept and tolerate one another's beliefs...because none of us know for sure what is real and what isn't, and I don't think that anyone should have to sacrifice their beliefs because they are different from one someone else believes. If there is one true God somewhere out there...then he must know that everyone has the capacity to LOVE and any GOD is surely about LOVE and not about murder or slander or intolerance or bigotry, etc. etc. etc.
Anyone who takes a religion and turns it into an excuse to either manipulate people into submission by fear, or terrorize people into running and hiding under a rock so these people can reign in their insane beliefs...and who insist that they are the one and only's are not just arrogant, but for certain are cursed to any hell that exists because no god could be a god if they rule by fear and tyrancy, that is just plain cruelty, and therefore, that should be proof enough that any people who believe in extremism are not of ANY GOD but just purely and totally insane.

They are nothing but a bunch of terrorists who's professed goal is to kill every "infidel" on this planet, specifically Israelis and Americans. How can any rational thinking human being support this???

I generally don't even look at the questions reguarding Islam, because I know I'm unqualified to give an opinion. Giving an opinion based on only what I've heard from other people would be stupid. I'd rather research it for myself and come to my own conclusions. However, I haven't done so yet =)

I have studied the Quran in a 400 level college class before along with research ever since. I found Islam to be a very dogmatic, ungodly, oppressive, violent, chauvinistic, arab, dishonest, anti-Christ, anti-socialist, facist, rigid, unhealthy, unbeneficial religion.
Maybe the answers theyre getting are true to life just not what they want to hear?

you're right about the answers being bigotry or stupid. but it's mostly just normal-minded people like you who want an outlet to vent frustrations and not be politically correct. so, i wouldn't take anything too seriously on here. note: i said MOSTLY. yes there are bigots who use the internet and those are their true feelings.

I am not Muslim either but I read a book on its origins.. any religion that advocates the killing of non believers to get to heaven is wrong..

I agree on all accounts actually. It makes more since and the Q'uran is written "or taught" by one man and not put together by a dozen different authors. But most people are ignorant, you can give them water but you can't make them drink it. And for the record I'm not muslim.
