Except its more painful, and tight. I can open my mouth. But my teeth hurt and that puckering feeling is killing me. Its hard to explain, but its like when you eat something sour and there is that moment were you pucker up. Except, its not stopping. I've left a message with the dentist but he hasn't called me back yet. Any direction you can point me will help! And please no negative feed back, I already feel like a 'tard.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled. There was some infection but still have a few days of antibiotics left. They gave me pennicilin. My jaw is so dang sore, and the pain in my teeth? I keep pushing my tongue against them, it seem to help.

If you have had your gums slices because of teeth exposure from the wisdom teeth, this will take at leaste a week to get better. You didn't say, but maybe the wisdom teeth were embedded in bone. You need to let the antibiotics do their job and try to limit yourself like your doctor had advised you. If after the week recovery period is over and there is no progress, you will certainly need to go back to get checked out.

What type of dental work you had done? When any type of filling is done on a tooth, some sensitivity to cold and pressure is normal. It normally goes away after a week. However, a problem that can cause prolonged sensitivity to cold or pressure on a recently filled tooth or a new crown is hyperocclusion (high fillings or high crown). The solution to this is to return to the dentist for an occlusal adjustment, which means that the dentist determines what spots on the tooth or crown are high and grinds them down.

Cracked tooth syndrome or irreversible pulpitis is possible after a filling is done but more info from you is needed to determine the exact cause
