nooooooooooo that is not ok - u gave him a wrong impression that u are shy,and unconfident -it may have lessened ur chances with him - but u can fix it - just talk to him as soon as u can and tell him u gave the note to him bcuz u didnt have time to talk to him or somthing like that ,lol
