Generally, again, try different kitten foods (they are different from adult cat foods, so it has to be "kitten" or "junior" or something). My recommendation is canned food.

Recent research shows that kibble (dry) food has no positive effect whatsoever on cat teeth, and does lead to, obviously when a switch to canned foods is made, dehydration. No joke. Cat's don't drink a different amount of water on dry or canned food - and the water content in dry food is at most 10%, and in canned food - 70 to 80%. I thin you can see the issue... I did, in practice.

But, if your kitten refuses food for more than 3 days, TAKE HIM TO THE VET! A cat can take 3 days of starvation without much damage, but more than that is definitely sign of a problem.

I have 2 kittens and I feed them Purina One Kitten food. It's the best and they are very healthy, playful & energetic.
It has real chicken in it. Anything with real chicken or fis is good. Try to stay away from foods with by-products. They do not have real meat in them. Good luck. Kittens are great!
They deserve the best care possible.
P.S. Can food can make a cat's teeth weak if they are fed it alot. The dry food makes their teeth stronger.

Are you using kitten food?? The pieces in adult cat food can be too big for a kitten to manage. Whiskas kitten food is the best. Do not give them dried catfood like Iams or Go-Cat until they are six months old.

Oh, my cat went through this stage at one time when she was a kitten. I spoke to my vet and they said feed her on a biscuit diet. And i have also herd that a biscuit diet is more healthy for the cat and better nutrition and better for digestion than meat !!! Try that and see if your cat will do that ?

How long have you had the kittens? How old are they? How long have you had them? Have you tried different cat foods? If one isnt eating maybe you should take him to the vet.

try mixing the tin food with water and mashing them together that way your kitten will suck the food up plus you will know it wont get dehydrated. only reason i can think its not eating is because its not fully weaned. try smearing a little cat food around its mouth. it will take time but it will be wroth it :)
hope this helps

You could try giving milk that is not cold.. Normally I do not like giving cats/dogs milk because it often gives or results in a diarrhea condition but in your case with the one kitty.. try milk(warmed a little) but I suspect that the canned cat food would eventually be accepted by the cat when it is hungry enough.. YOu did not say how YOUNG they were.

at your local grocery store they have kitten milk right on the cat food isle, it doesnt have to be refrigerated until its open, if the cat doesnt drink it on his own, an eye dropper works great for feeding kittens...
