i went to my 10 year high school reunion and saw an ex-bf who looked really bad (thinning hair, fat, looked rough, etc..). I was secretly feeling really good about myself, because he had dumped me and i look fabulous after 10 years... am i terrible?

No but your heart is probably a bit more rotten. It's what's on the inside that counts. Sure he dumped you but that was 10 years ago, it should have been forgotten. Let it go. Sorry to rain in your parade.

No, I don't think that you are a terrible person for feeling good about your self, and in some ways maybe happy that he dumped you. Think at this way, if you two had stay together after ten years this is what would by your side, be happy you dodged the bullet!
Am sure that your ex-bf when he saw you was bummed because of how well you look and that he made a mistake ten years ago. Just don't gloat to loud in public.

Not terrible. I ran into an ex-bf at a wedding reception, he told me he had 4 kids by 3 different women, his foot was broken, said he dropped a keg on it. And at my 10 year reunion, all of the "popular" people from high school were fat, bald, etc. Those of us who were outcasts, looked the best and had made more of our lives. It felt great.

thats the whole point of the reunion so you can show all the people that treating you badly how good u turned out and how fat ugly and bald they have become....you know that saying what goes around comes around?? well he dumped you and 10 years later there it is!
