Try and get it out with floss or a tooth pick, if its left there it will stagnate and your gum will become sore and it could cause a gum infection. If you can't get it out you should go and see your dentist.

Do not worry, it will feel uncomfortable for a while, but time and rinsing your mouth out with listerine will help. also try warm water with a little salt. It will drop down and come out after a while. Do not pick at it because that could cause gum irritation.

Do try to get it out - have you tried dental floss/tape, or interdental brushes - they are very good and may just give you sufficient help to remove it.

The last thing you want is an infection to start.

Good Luck - hope it helps.

Should you start feeling any pain /experience facial swelling do seek Dentist advice asap.

if you cannot get it out with a toothpick or floss, try rinsing and swishing your mouth out real hard. If that does not work make an apt to get it out (if it starts to hurt). Sometimes they come out on there own and sometimes they dont. if your gum gets inflamed or your tooth stats to hurt that is most likely the culprit.

massage above it on your gum...you will get an infection soon if you don't get it out. Try to massage it down...& when you see an edge, slide it out. I have had pop corn casing under a gum, but not that far! Go see a dentist if you can't get it out soon!
Good luck!

Sometimes it can push itself out but more than likely you will need to see a dentist to remove it for you. It's not too big of a deal. It will probably just hurt if it sits in there.

I suggest holding salt water, hot as you can without scalding, on it often until you can see a Dentist, you might find you don't need a Dentist,
Don't worry, that only makes you old, the problem will still be there,

YES,
IF you can not get it out with a dental tool, toothpick, floss, you need to go to the dentist. It will rot & cause an infection which can lead to a abcess.

Hi, you dont nessecary have to panic but after a while your gum could become painfull and get infected and very very painfull, go up to A&E and see if a nurse can get it out for you.

Try some heavy-duty swishing or a dental pick. Don't leave it there. If you can't get it out, go to your dentist. I would think it could cause an infection. Good luck!
