My husband walked out on me last weekend. I thought that I would be hurt, but I am actually overjoyed at the prospect of starting over again. I am 35, in my finally year of college, and have no clue on what to do with my new found freedom. Like Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty I'm free at last."

Get divorced and stay single for a while. Don't jump into any relationships for at least 1 year. Re-bounders NEVER work. Learn how to talk to perspective dates before you go out with them. Listen very carefully to what they tell you, remember everything. This weeds out all the crazies. When you decide to meet them watch them carefully. Most people can lie very easily with words but body language tells the truth. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. This weeds out the sneaky crazies. I'm a guy that went through 3 marriages back to back. I didn't take the time to see what people were really like and I put myself through hell. I've been single for 3 years now and I've learned a lot. In the beginning I wasn't careful and I went out with my share of crazies. I had a stalker and I almost went to jail twice. Now I talk a lot and screen my perspective dates. After 3 years of being single I am just now starting to look for a serious relationship. We will see how it goes. Have fun and be good........especially the good part:-) Above all....stay safe

Try to be happy, take card of yourself, and think of number one (self) right now. Hope there are no children involved. If there is, take care of them also. Good Luck.
