I'm in the middle.. I'm out of school but I don't have any kids either - at least to the best of my knowledge.

I'm not looking forward to school. I have my senior year ahead, which means I'll have to spend time writing college essays, filling out applications, taking SAT subject tests, and studying for all the AP classes, and doing extracurriculars. This will be stressful.
I looked forward to 10th grade, because it was easy.

Students usually don't look forward to going back to school, myself included.
Some parents look forward to is, some don't.

Even in college, school just brings back stress and unnecessary aggrivation. I can't stand it anymore.
They fill your head with such BS that you really do not need to succeed in life.

i want to go to school because it's my last year and then i will go to university and I'm looking forward for that !!! but i have to study very well this year...and then i will have my exams... :-((((

I dont know that my kids were ready to go back to school,
but I was ready for them.
