Sibling rivalry - try spending some quality time with each of them on an individual basis. Give them something different from one another each according to their ability that they can do for you or one another as a secret - offer them lots of praise when accomplished.
Try to direct the rivalry into developing friendships that will last a lifetime, getting each to accept the other as their best-est mate.
It wont happen overnight but can be done and your efforts will be rewarded. Good Luck.

Thats just the fun of kids at least they have each other to play and fight with it would be worse if you had an only child.
Try standing in the kitchen and counting to 20, it works for me or give them something to do as they are most likely bored

How old are they?
Disapline for me, works best when they have reached that age where they understand, say about 5 onwards!
I take my childrens things away, that mean the most to them! either for a set amount of time or until they behave themselves, either way, if they are naugthy again, I just take their things again!
good luck! Don't let them get away with it ,and get hubby to back you up!

Assert your authoitah. Make them know you mean business if they cross you, but don't make it so that they flinch when you raise your hand scratch your eyebrow. Threaten to take away/disconnect anything that they like (i.e. hide the coaxial cable for the television, power cord for a computer, favorite toy), feed them liver and onions, whatever works.

lady, your kids are normal
i have two boys, 2 years apart and they are the same size
they spend half their time together fighting, but they are inseperable the other half of the time
they'll grow up, and each one will go their own way
enjoy it...it really is normal
if you think it is going too far, then as one of the other answers said..."assert your authority"

best thing I ever did was timeout sitting on the kitchen floor, back to back and the backs had to touch the entire time and the timer on the microwave was set for the average of their ages and the time started over if either one talked to me or the other OR if the backs lost touch...only had to do it once.

get down on your hands and knees and give them piggy back rides, play football all together down the park, paint, crayon pictures, sing silly songs, just distract them from arguing and hopefully you will solve the problem...............these are all tactics i used when mine were small.........

Just say you will adopt them. Or you could tie them up and put them in the loft?
