Riding a RORO going to Bantayan Island, Cebu with friends... A friend of mine strums the guitar and we would sing along, looking for dolphins... just laughing at every jokes, savoring every moment... In Bantayan, white-sand beaches! and cheap accomodations! A heaven for a traveller!

I'll let you in on a secret. Try Lake Danao in Ormoc, Leyte.
It's so beautiful and unspoiled, it felt like the last paradise on earth when i went there.
It's on top of a mountain (the lake is the crater of an extinct volcano) and it is advisable to take a 4WD to get there particularly during the rainy months.
But if you are on a thin purse, there is also a HUGE jeep (a converted truck) that plies the route and passes by the lakeside although it makes only 2 trips in a day, loaded with people, chicken, goats, pigs, sigben, etc. up to the roof.
The water is so clear, you can see 10 feet down. And it gets really cold around 4pm. I sank a 6 pack in the water while cadged a 15 minute ride on the lake in a flat-bottom boat and when i got off, the beer was really great, worked better than a ref.

Best moment was when i went to Pagudpud and Vigan in Ilocos with my friends, Northern part of the Philippines.
Hidden Valley in Laguna with my co workers, really nice places. You will love these places. Happy trip!

Baguio with my girlfriend. The smell of the pine trees and the morning mist makes it look so heavenly. Really miss that place since the earthquake in 1990.

When we went to Bohol. We saw the Philippine tarsiers, they are such cute , rare creatures. I didnt know that they were that small and friendly.

The best is in panglao beach in bohol. Very nice beaches yet very cheap fees.
