You say nothing works, Could you list some of the nothings you have tried? Walking works, when committed to a regime of regular walks. Jump roping works very well too. Physical activity can't help but work. Another thing that really works is to say a 'mantra' to your self, daily... several times a day. Such as " I love and approve of myself. I eat only what my body needs. I enjoy my new slender and healthy body". I weigh ____ pounds. I notice my eating behaviors. I love being slender. My slender body is sexually attractive. At dinner I savor each mouthful. I eat when I am hungry. There is always plenty of food available. I pay attention to the tastes and textures of my foods. I pay attention to the types of foods I eat. I have tested myself for addictive food allergies. Exercise helps make me slender." When looking at a slender photo of yourself/someone-else: "That's what I look like. That's who I am. That's me!"

Start slowly. You didn't gain it in a day, so you won't take it off in a day either.
Buy yourself a pedometer and aim to build up to walking 10,000 steps a day. Start wherever you are right now and try to increase by a few hundred every day.
Begin a weight lifting program.
Park at the back of parking lots instead of close to the doors. Always use stairs - never elevators or escalators.
Follow the US or Canada food guide in planning your food.
Write down everything you eat and record all your exercise - a couple of the links will help you with that. That way you will see where you might need to make changes.
Make small dietary changes such as eliminating most junk food food, not eating after 8:00 at night, always eating a healthy breakfast.
Plan meals rather than eating "spur of the moment" food.
Drink plenty of water.
Consult your doctor, since you are probably planning on losing a significant amount of weight.
You can do it. Be patient. Don't try to lose the weight too fast.

chek thi out
it really works
with Hoodia I lost 4lbs the first week! After a month, I'm down 13Lbs!
Personally I think 100% Hoodia in tablets is best!
Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
The problem w/Hoodia is 90%+ are scams. The real Hoodia is expensive and only the one imported from S.Africa has been show to work.
Many people go for the low cost scam Hoodia and have no results!
**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
You can read a good article about how it works at:

I have a great tip:
For a week, eat normally (the way you always do, no matter how healthy or not it is) but, write down everything in a book including how many calories it was (be honest) fat grams, and carbs. After the week, add up all calories, fat, and carbs and divide it by 7 (days). The next week, cut down that average amount by 5%. So if you are averaging 2500 calories a day, just cut 125 calories a day. Next week do the same, i.e. 2350 average, minus 120 calories gives you 2230 etc. Same with fat and carbs.
A lot of people wrongly believe that if you eat 2500 calories in a day, to be on a "diet" you have to cut down to under 2000. Your body then goes into instant hunger mode. If you cut down slowly, over weeks, you body will slowly get use to less calories and will start augmenting from stored fat.
That is the theory anyway. I went from 245 to 182 in about 18 months.

I have tried so many diffrent diet's myself. So far I have not found anything that has worked. Two weeks ago I started this diet New Direction. I have two shakes a day and a meal bar, then I have a 500 cal meal. I have lost 15 lbs my first two weeks. I think this plan if very good, and Dr's are with you every step of the way. From behavior counselor, registered dietitian and a exercise specialist. I highly recommend this diet.

Hello, I answered a question similar to this one yesterday and I have the link for you. This "diet" is not really a diet its a life changing way of eating. I weighed 230 when I started this way of eating 1 month ago now I weigh 220 lbs. This way of eating was extremely hard for me to follow at first but you have to think your going to feel better with the weight off, your going to be healthy, and you have a better chance of fighting infections a little faster, if you were to ever get sick.
I hope this answer I gave another person helps you out. It will be hard at first but keep your head up, look forward, and you will get through it.
Oh and remember you don't have to go hungry just eat little portions thought out the day.
God bless.

The first step is to look at your calorie intake versus calories burned. I thought www.caloriecontrol.com was very useful. See how many calories you need to maintain your weight, how many calories you burn while exercising, and calorie content in food. 3500 calories equal one pound, so if you eat 500 calories less than you need or burn 500 calories a day while eating the amount of calories to maintain your weight, you will lose one pound a week. Find exercise that you enjoy. If some are tough on your body, try swimming and water aerobics. It has less impact on the body. If you absolutely can't get anything to work, find a registered dietitian and a certified personal trainer. Include cardio and strength training to build muscle and burn fat. Drink lots of water!

Have you tried this? Pickle in Morning
shortly after getting up.. follow with toast
and glass of lemon juice. Cut down on sweets. If you must have cereal have it
with fruit instead of sugar and milk! Also
walk at least a mile a day best time is in morning about 20 minutes after your breakfast! Avoid things like Burgers & fries cause they
are saturated fats the unhealthy type of fats! Also avoid eating salty foods before bed time!

There is no way dieting and exercising won't work. Start small: Try walking around your house back and forth...great because when you get tired, you can easily sit down. You can also try running in place. A little goes a long way. Anything that you are doing is better than doing nothing at all.

The ONLY answer for you is a lifestyle change that includes DIET and EXCERCISE.
Losing weight is simply a factor of eating less calories than your body consumes per day. For example, if your body burns 1800 calories per day and you eat 1500 calories per day, you will lose weight. Excercise promotes calorie burning.
