I urge you eat salad after a lite dinner and have a sandwich for lunch and fruit.Do not drink soda or diet product or processing like frozen food. Because, fresh product,vegetable and fruit will help you loose weight and eat right and be healthy. You need all the help you can get when you are teenager and while going to High school.

Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.

Lunch suggestions:
piece of fruit
string cheese, summer sausage, cottage
cheese/yogurt
tuna/turkey/ham sandwich (lettuce, tomatoe optional)
raw veggies
boiled eggs
Always eat a good dinner...meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Cardio exercise is great, but most people don't continue for an extended period, do "daily" simple exercise like walking/hiking, biking are low impact, get on the teams for basketball, baseball, or volleyball, they will help to lose weight and tone your body, make new friends and you'll have fun doing it.

First off, losing weight is not super important for school. I doubt anyone will care that you are not the skinniest. Try to lose 10 pounds by doing jogging, riding a bike, Crunches, and sit ups to rid that extra belly fat. For lunch......... Peanut Butter and Jelly,/Sandwich of some sort, some carrot sticks, or a fruit, a drink, NO SODA!!!!!!!!!! a snack like Rice Cakes, Fat Free Chips, Veggie Chips, Celery, Triscuits are good also.

Just good healthy food, whole grains in bread; fruit and vegetables such as small salads, whole apples and bananas, boxes of raisins, perhaps some string cheese occasionally. Do not pack doughnuts, high calorie muffins, candies and cookies very often. Once in awhile would not hurt, as a treat. But no more than once per week.

I like to eat 2 egg whites (hardboiled) right before each meal, because they are only 15-20 calories each and they fill your stomach up a little so you eat less of your meal. The egg whites go down quick and they don't tase that bad. They are mostly water and protien and no fat. Make sure you throw the yolks away..yolks are where the fat and cholesterol are.
