Always trying to find different ways.
One thing was when a patient in hospital I use to put little heart shaped pieces of paper in whatever I was taking in. After years discovered on of them was still in the glasses case.
Another thing was buy a heart shaped keyring and put it when unexpectedly it would be found with a note to effect "Now you have found this you know I love you and am thinking of you - if you love me please return the gesture". That just goes on and on and its surprising the places you can hide it.
Gestures of love don't have to be overboard and costs lots of money - it's those simple unexpected things.

Yesterday I took my girlfriend to a movie, dinner then a romantic hotel with a jacuzzi...not sure it's romantic but it's expensive which is the same thing to a guy. Sorry to hear about your relationship.

My ex-gf (she's now my wife, mind!) loves to tell our kids how I would bring her a rose that I cut from one single plant every day when I visit her office on my way to work. That one she knows I personally nurtured and tended... and the fragrance lasts the whole day.

one time i bought a lot of roses and for my girl and when she was at school i went to her house and put them under her pillow. One of the roses was fake and said "whenever this rose dies so will my love for you"

No big gestures, but I occasionally buy her flowers and am generally a fantastic husband.
