The vast majority of it, yes.

Everyone has some type of bias, that's endemic from personal experience. Rational people are aware of their bias, and able (to varying degrees) to filter it out when making statements.

But slant and spin and misdirection are the way people score points. As other posters have mentioned, too many people look for the simple short answer, and listen to the loudest voice. So, the message that is believed is the one that is spun to attract their attention and that hits the right emotional buttons.

That's human nature. Like greed and warfare and hatred are human nature. We can either choose to rise about that and be rational beings, or not.

People will slant a news article to fit whatever they want it to fit. As I told you earlier It is not just the illegals that commit crimes And the number of crimes committed by them is a small percentage of the overall total crimes committed in this country. Even if they were not here at all the overal crime rate would remain about the same. Put the blame for crime where it belongs on the criminals All of them native or immigrant they are one and the same

2 layers, 2000 miles long, guarded 24/7, by a well-supported, well-organized US Border Patrol. That governor's conference, though, 'comprehensive immigration reform' smells like the Senate bill...which may as well be called the 'Free Pass for Mexico Act'...conflicts of interest....the 'undocumented worker' phraseology continues to be used...makes u wonder how many of the media hacks support a mass influx of mexican citizens, too...

Even ONE crime committed by ONE illegal alien is ONE preventable crime and ONE less victim .... God knows we have enough home grown criminals ... we don't need any more ... simple as that ....
