Looking to take my wife and two boys (5&8) out of over-priced CA to a place where we can afford a nice, big home.

Casa Grande's growth is beginning to cool off. We've grown from 25,000 to north of 40,000 people in a short time. Rural character of the town is fading. Many CA transplants. Large shopping center/movie complex/restaurants coming next year.
Chains are discovering us. Still some 'mom & pops'. And a few cowboys left.
We are almost dead center in what will be the Phoenix/Tucson megalopolis one day. If you come be prepared to watch your environment change rapidly.

it's not like a big town that has shopping malls, but, it's big enough to enjoy. the climate is wonderful. if you need anything special that you can't find there, you could always go to phoenix or tucson. hope this helps.
