I hate going to bed with any dishes in the sink. However, last night I was very tired after a gosh awful headache, and left 2 glasses in the sink. I slept in a little this morning, and found my kids happily chatting about their plans for the day. Into the kitchen I go, dreaming of my morning cup of java....and WHAM!!!! My two cups in the sink have multiplied...now there are 14. The kids hurried into the kitchen after hearing my words of surprise (not the best words for a Sunday). "Mom, whats wrong"?. I could hardly speak...I managed to mutter out something like "Don't ever put the pink and blue Tupperware cups together again!!!". Off they went, joyfully skipping, whispering to each other something that sounded like "Mom is CRAZY"!!! So, how was your morning!!!

Does this surpass the decorative exploding lotion bottle experiment that your son concocted? Thanks for the entertainment, intentional or not!

My morning was pretty darn good. A refreshing early morning walk, followed by going thru the sunday paper, out on the deck...

Basically uneventful. The only thing multiplying in this house is the wads of cat hair on the carpet. If I go to bed and leave two there, there will be 50 in the morning. Your story was great, and the only laugh I have had this morning!!!

It's the same story this side of the globe too - India. Your ingenuity made me laugh. I guess MOMS all over the world must feel like you. Here though I have the advantage of a maid so it's not that bad.

I think it's an exponential thing. I wouldn't leave those cups for long. 2 x ? = 14 could turn into 14 x ? = 320.
