Since no one else is really answering, I might as well.

An insect's life is spent in stages. For the sake of this question, let's discuss them broadly as a food-gathering stage and a mating stage. Since insects don't have nutrient-filled eggs like chickens or a parent host like a mammal, they need to hatch out of their eggs and begin gathering food immediately. They spend this first stage eating and growing. When they reach adulthood, they mate and eventually die.

A flying insect's adult body isn't suited for growing- it expends massive amounts of energy just getting around. The strongest, fittest aerial bugs are those which, through mutation, delayed maturation, spending more time as low-energy-cost larvae and therefore netting more food. Nature selects for the fittest, eventually resulting in animals which are well-suited to one niche as a larva, and as an adult suited to a completely different niche. The protective chrysalis in between the stages is impressive, but not miraculous.

Why wouldn't evolution be a part of this process? I don't feel like typing a whole page to prove my point. Let me just say this: YOU CAN BELIEVE IN GOD AND EVOLUTION!!!!!GOD IS THE ULTIMATE MASTER CREATOR, BUT DON'T BELIEVE THE BIBLE WHEN IT SAYS THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING IN IT WAS CREATED IN 6 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
