That's a good one! Here's some others:
1 A man on death row being diagnosed with a terminal illness
2 A drug addict being put on Methadone for re-hab
3 Drinking a little beer to get through a hangover
4 Reporting back to a commanding officer or supervisor that's there's nothing significant to report.
5 The man who invented the Winchester rifle in the 1800's died when he was shot with a Winchester Rifle. (or was that the guy who invented the Colt revolver shot with a Colt?) any way it's irony
6 The man who invented the first internal Pacemaker died when his Pacemaker failed.
7 Jenna Bush being prosecuted and arrested by the stipulations of her own father's Zero Tolerance law
8 A ban on gay marriage approved and fully backed by Dick Cheney, whose daughter is a loud and proud lesbian.
9 Henry VIII was poisoned and killed by the only wife that he didn't behead.
10 Martin Luther was a Catholic monk who was looking to improve the Catholic church until people started hailing him as a Separatist and he decided to stop fighting it.Then one of his followers established a new church in his name and he was shunned and excommunicated by the Catholics.

The irony of me answering your question and then falling in love with your ethos and phiolosophy. That senario, well, it would be ironic, considering our vast differences.

Actually, I think that's more like poetic justice.
Irony is like a 'No Smoking' sign above an ashtray. Or when you're sitting at an intersection that has signs that say "NO TURN ON RED" and you get a green arrow under that big, glaring red light.

possibly. i might think of it to be greater ironic in case you have been saving as much as get cable for an prolonged long term... after which you acquire it, your television broke, and you ought to no longer discover the money for it, in view which you spent all your money on getting cable. i think of yours is semi-ironic... whether it is greater in simple terms unlucky. stable luck to you.
