First of all who is Tom K. and who cares what he says about where to meet on a first date anyway?
Don't worry about what anyone says about where to meet on a first date because it truly doesn't matter at all and for someone to say that it does matter is so wrong.
It's up to you and your "first" date and if you want to go to McDonald's for a bite to eat and it won't cost an arm and half a leg either then enjoy and the hell with the critics say too because it's your life and why worry when you are going to have a great "first" date?

haha, Obviously Tom K Is a "cheap date" kinda guy. I think the first date Is pretty much a sign of what the future holds. . So if you want to turn Into an overweight, spotty girl, then let tom whisk you away!

I don't see anything wrong with going to McDonalds for a first date. Infact, when our oldest daughter started dating, that was the first place we allowed her to go on a date at without supervision.
She's 18 now and she goes lot's of different places.

It's the perfect place if it's where you both want to go! I'd recommend packing a picnic lunch and a blanket and go to a nice park for a 1st date this time of year.

If you are going out on a date with someone you have been wanting to go out with or are interested in WHAT difference does it make where you go. He ask you out on a date, wants to spend time with you, isnt that enough? Does he have to empty his wallet to show you a good time? You dont have to spend money to have a good time.
