how do i tell a girl who has a crush on me that i like her much more attractive sister and not her without hurting her feelings

i don't know either of them real well they came up to me at work and the one i'm not interested in asked me for my number in front of her sister and i didn't want to seem like a jerk and lose the chance with the one i like so i gave it to the sister i don't like. i don't know if the other sister likes me back but i got a vibe that she did

the one that does like me for sure is ugly and annoying but her sister is hot and has personality to boot

Won't matter how you tell her as it will hurt her feelings anyway. Does the older sister like you? I'd start there and then you can always fall back to the other one.

ive been there sadly there isnt a way to tell her without hurting her feelings and you should probably forget the whole ideal of being with her sister this happened to me in the form of a letter i was actually gonna give my virginity up to this guy and here comes in my sister with this letter saying i dont know if you want to read this or not he wrote her telling her about his feelings and that he know i will be angry i confronted him on it and my sister didnt give him the time of day. if i were you i'd just find an ew attraction if she's a caring sister the attractive one isnt gonna go for you anyways.

Are you looking to hurt someone's feelings? Just be polite and if she asks for a date say "No, thanks I'm not interested." If she prys "why" just keep saying "not interested." Don't give your number and don't take her phone calls. Hopefully, she'll take the hint.
Pursue her sister if you want. But if you are mean to the "ugly" sister, she'll tell the one you want how mean you are and you'll end up with neither one of them. They've known each other their entire lives and will trust themselves over anything you might say/do.

You will hurt her feelings either now or later. Just be honest, tell her and get it over with. She then will have the choice of moving on or acting out. You have no control over how she reacts, but you can control how you handle yourself and your true feelings. Do not allow your worry about hurting others to hold you hostage in a situation you can not tolerate.

Don't, if you want to hurt her feelings slightly less. Wind around her and start hanging around with/asking out her sister (does the sister know you like her? If yes, then this is okay...)

look dont tell her go out with her and see if you can have them both cause if you put it on the sister good she will tell her sister an she may want to screw you on the side. What you have to lose
