Don't get a dog from a pet store like someone suggested. Worst place to get a dog.
Someone said a mixed breed like a yorkiepoo would cost more than a purebred. NO! For a mixed breed, I wouldn't pay more than $50. $200 is too much for a mixed breed. Someone else said a yorkiepoo is a purebred? Excuse me!It is a mix of Yorkie and poodle, so no purebred there. It's fine if that is the dog you want, just don't pay too much for it.

Kate, Please don't go to a pet store you will only be helping puppy mills stay in business. Try www.puppymillrescue.com or go through www.puppydogweb.com and find a breeder near you. research before buying a puppy through the internet there are companies out there who will take your money and never deliver the dog. When you only have a limited amount to spend you have to be extra careful.Either rescue one or save up for a purebred you can get from a reputable breeder.

dont get dog from a pet shop please!!!!
if you want a good dog try to get a welsh corgi from a rescue center nearby they cost less and are way betetr then the dogs in the pet store
these dogs usually cost 500$ but in a rescue center prob about 200-250$ are also they are not as big...well kinda bigger then a teacup size

Though they usualy do cost more then most akc and ukc reg. dogs. Don't rule out a local animal shelter, they have so many cute and little and needy dogs that need a good caring home and they are cheaper, up to date on shots and things.

look up some sites or your loal pet shop. id suggest local pet stores or shelters just because they are much safer than online stores. but good luck finding a nice little furry friend. im sure that if you want a small one then that must mean that you really like dogs and you are a very good dog owner.- i found that out reading a book about dogs. people who want small dogs like dogs a lot!!!!!!!!

instead of paying so much for a pure bred why not go to your local spca and give a homeless puppy a home - in my experience a cross breed makes a much better pet anyway!

hmm good question...but it depends..where you live...town, city, village -- off limits to dogs etc..or the moon. the best way is to look up...classified section of your local newspapers..if they don't advertise..you advertise there...
wanted puppy...etc.
good luck...you need it...too.
