I have cleaned my washrrom and toilet with these soft drinks, and my washroom shines, like new.

I used Sprite to remove ink spot from my white shirt. it worked as Tide.

well in India, people are washing their basin, bath tub, and toilet with Coca cola and Pepsi... they're not lying about these. cause this is serious.

Unbelievable? Believe it.

That's so interesting! I always hear people telling me to use soda to clean stains, but i never knew it worked so well. Is it the acid in the soda that makes it clean? Probably. Thanks for the info! I'm gonna go clean my shirts with Sprite now ( really i am, i have a terrible stain on it that won't go away).

haha yeah I learned this in a math class handout where our teacher taught us the importance of water compared to coca cola. Coke is able to dissolve a nail, clean many things and did you know that people use it to wash blood of highways after an accident? Gross huh? In addition to these, it also tastes good which makes the whole thing addictive.

I find it interesting that people think because it can clean something it must be bad for you. (soft drinks are bad for you -liquid candy) But it is chemistry. A lot of the "stains" can be removed with common house hold products. Metallic stains are easily removed with Ascorbic acid (also known as Vitamin C) and no, Vitamin C is not Citrus acid. Citrus acid is... Citrus acid. So if you have a rust stain rub some orange juice on it or better yet Catchup. That might stain it more though.

Coke is a rust remover, chrome polish and can also be used in place of penetrating oil.
That is why I prefer to drink Pepsi.
