Maybe their parents don't think highly of you and he doesn't want to tell them because they would try to knock you down. Or maybe he is so shy that he doesn't want his mother or siblings to give him a hard time with questions. Ask him point blank why he won't tell them. If it's reason A, then you will be hurt but can then move on. If it's reason B, make him tell his parents in front of you. They might be pleased to hear such good news. You can then move on and stop wondering why he keeps your relationship a secret. You know that that wondering is what is hurting you and that you must end it. Best of luck.
If you like my advice and want more write me an e-mail. I have been in your position. I think my "secret girlfriend" was embarassed of admitting she was with me. I never talked things through with her so I ended it. Best thing is to talk things through.

Is he embarassed to tell his prents about you. The real question should be why after 6 years is he still hiding this from his parents. Theres got to be reason. Thats the real question. I would not be helping him make excuses. I would want to know why he still has to make excuses after 6 years. You've got to find out. If you don't you are going to get hurt really bad, if you all ready aren't in the process.

I think you're boyfriend should tell his parents that he's going skating with a friend. He's not lying because you are his friend and girlfriend. Hopefully, his parents will understand.

you guys have been going out 6 years! wow you were 8 when you first went out!
well anyways maybe his parents have some rule that he cant date until a certain age. or he might not be as comfortable talking to his parents about that stuff as other people are. dont get mad at him until you confront him about it

You should say,"Well, he wants some excercise and I have to stretch out a bit because I have some hard gym classes coming up, so since he's my friend, he was just wondering if I wanted to go with." If his mother says,"Well, it seems like a date to me insted", then say "It's not, we're just friends, and we're not lying".But remember not to say it all the time.
