Depends, If it is polluted water, disgust. If it's pure ocean water out in some non inhabited island, in tune with nature.

When I watch the Ocean, or sea as I call it, I always felt a wonder of creation, a feeling of being alive and grateful for this life, I was brought up near the sea, our family always went to the sea whenever we did not feel well. There was always a feeling of being made better, sometimes just helped the head to think better. I was always taken there for my asthma, and it helped.
I miss the sea now since I live in central Europe now, But just the sound is a healing effect

Serenity. Watching the waves move is very peaceful for me.
I love to listen to the gulls and watch an occasional fish jump.
Then there are the bugs that skeeter across the top of the water.

Nausea - even the sight of it makes me sea-sick, unless I only look at my feet.
The sight of the horizon going up and down urgggggggggggh
