i have dandruff right above my face and right above my back in my scalp. when i try to "loosen" it with a comb my haed gets red spots and starts to hurt. i have really thick, long, curly hair and i have tea tree shampoo and conditioner but its not really helping. is there anything that i can do?

It sounds like you may have scalp psoriasis. You can go to your GP or a dermatologist. They can prescribe special shampoo, and or a liquid medication that can help you manage the condition.

Go to the dermatologist.
Sounds like you have psoriasis, not dandriff.
If that is the case, then you need a totally different treatment.

hey i used to have the same problem as u...i too have really thick long curly hair... u have to use special antidandruff shampoo for some time... try head and shoulders shampoo, its the best...
