Yes, it could be from a recent weight loss. Your body is changing during this time.
It can also be from stress, a change in diet, a change in social surroundings. It can be from any or all of these.
PS.... A little note about your husband and the vasectomy.....my dad had one several years ago. Any way, after he had the procedure done about 3 yrs later my mother became pregnant. And YES the child is my fathers.
So the point is that there is no 100 percent effective method of birth control. It is just like women who get pregnant after having their tubes tied.....lol

Rapid weight loss and fat loss could be the cause. Women I know that train for bodybuilding competitions often see their cycle halt completely in the strict diet down phase until they start eating normally again and their bodyfat gets back up closer to normal range. But a smart woman would see the doctor.

Sure. I lost 90 lbs a couple years ago and didn't have a period for 3 or 4 months. All then went back to normal. Watch it though.... if you aren't already pregnant absence of periods doesn't necessarily mean you aren't ovulating.

Yes it probley is. Any time our body goes through something traumatic it affects us. Emotionally and physically. I once was under a lot of stress and did not have my period for a month. I can't have kids anymore so I knew that answer, but I would surely say it is cus of your weight lose. nothing to worry about.but if you need to I'd see a doc. if it lasts over a month. Good job. ..L.

There are various factors that can delay or make your period come sooner than expected. Losing weight can cause this, because your body is taking a change, hormones are accommodating the change taking place.

It could be from the weight loss.
It shifted the hormonal balance in your body.
If you are worried get a blood pregnancy test at your doc's office.

Very much so. For women extreme weight loss throws your cycle way out of whack.

First why did you lose so much weight?? If you are on a diet this can upset your cycle. If you are not trying to lose weight get to a Dr. Find out why you are losing .
