Why not a good old fashioned..."Hi, How you doin" sorta thing?? Some girls may find it defensive...others as a compliment...
AND you do know that if you'd like to find out if they are tied down or not, you can always just ask them, right?
Unless, they are compulsive liars, they will say no. AND even then, that shows you to stay away from them anyway....
