Do you mean as like a world record or generally as a breed. I am goin to assume both and answer them.
Danka Kordak Slovakia who, quite ironically, resides in Slovakia is the world's smallest dog in terms of length measuring a mere 7 inches or two big bites if it was a hot dog.
Danka Kordak Slovakia beat out Tiny for the record by a lengthy .2 inches when measured in 2004.
A Yorkshire terrier named Whitney is the world's smallest living dog height wise measuring just 3 inches from the ground to his shoulders.
As for the breed it would have to be...As for the smallest breed of dog is the Chihuahua, which is between 2-6lbs. Usually, which too long for me. I believe it depends on the guy as well as his face though. Certain guys may pull off long hair and other people can't.
