Hi I'm 16 yrs old at 60kg and 1.64m. Currently I've been gaining lots of fatty and now trying to stop eating those fast food stuff.

My current objective is to lose the flabby stomach i have and build up my arm strength for pull-ups.The former one is the one I'm having problems with.

I know cardio + weight excercises do the job but what kind of diet/workout and how many sets shout i do. I'm currently in ok shape and could do like arnd 50+ situps in 1 min ( my abs are powerful but fatty) which make me doubt that i can do enough to make me lose since i can do alot. I wasn't this fat before so I'm like willing to do it all over again.

Thanks guys
(PS for the latter one(pullup thingy) also help me too if u can but my main concern is my belly)

Yeah I do exercise, but its just that I don't know any other more effective type of excersizing, I'm not concerned about my weight im just concerned physical appearance.

1. You can't lose in just one spot of the body
2. Exercise cardio - 4 times per week for 40 minutes.
3. Consume low deep friend foods and processed carbs. Sub them with veggies.
4. Cut calorie down slowly.

EXERCISE :you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Good luck and stick at it.

Be choosy about how you work out. Weight training builds bulky muscles whereas cardio, pilates and dance builds long lean muscles. I you want to tone yourself, I would only do light weight training and include a cardio excercise such as Tae-Bo. It works wonders and you cant go wrong. Sit ups are not as effective as you may think. I have lost my post-pregnancy belly doing Tae-Bo. In certain workouts, the trainer, Billy Blanks, focuses on certain areas of the body. Abs, thighs, hips, buns, etc. Each workout gives an enormous amount of cardio for calorie burning and the focus workouts literally melt the flab away. Just vary your workouts so that you get an entire body workout and then focus once or twice a week. Good luck on everything and keep us posted.
