Please don't answer about kids with speech disabilities-my son has one-I'm not asking for anyone to not correct a childs speech pattern. I encourage everyone to have their children speak correctly. If a disability is in question please ask your doctor.

My son and daughter both said this and it was strange cause my daughter never heard my son saying any of these words. He was pronouncing them correctly by the time she was born.
shish=horse....they would both bounce up and down as if riding a horse when they would see one and saying shish shish
towl=cow

I know a family who had a toddler, and his older brother of 6 years would baby talk to his brother all the time. It turned out the kid had a very bad speech inpairiment that has laster up to this age so far, 13. It is stupid not to correct toddlers when they are talking. I think people that let their kids say words that are not right are stupid and should have someone give them swerllys in dog $hit 3 times aa day.

personally this drives me nuts.. some parents actually encourage their kids to say things poorly (I am not saying you are) but I have even seen older kids talk poorly because thier mom and dad find it "cute" when really its not helping the kid out
people telling their kids that all dogs are "puppies" is just wrong too.. you dont tell a kid that an adult human is a "baby"...
sorry for the rant.. but help your kid to pronounciete correctly - dont encourage them to dumb down their speach becuase its "cute"
