I stuck to a routine of 400 sit~ups/ twice a day and a caloric intake of 1200 or less and worked(on my feet, walking and bending in a factory 8+ hrs) and lost 35 # and maintained it, in 8 months and was TONED! Not too bad for 39 yrs old at the time! I dropped from a size 12 to an 8~comfortably and really had LOTS of energy. I wore the most perfect wedding(mermaid style) dress! Good luck and stay within healthy limits.

Yes the ab lounge works, but only if your controling the amount and types of food that you eat. It will also depend upon how many times you use this machine a week, and how long you use it each time that you use the machine. dont expect to see resualts right away. when eating right and using the ab lounge at least 3 times a week and for 15 to 20 min each time you use the machine you should lose 2-4 lb. a week. any more then that is not good for your body. So if you decide to use the machine, remember that it takes time. To speed up the process you should walk a mile or two on the days you dont use the machine. Also cutting out carbonated drinks such as soda and beer, and reploace them with water, juice, tea, ect... This is entirly up to you though. But using the machine the correct way and eating right you will lose weight and feel much better about yourself.

Doesn't work like they try to convince you. Yeah, it may help your abs under the FAT on your stomach, but you have to do real cardio to get the FAT off your abs.
Try this with the abs lounge : do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.
Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Good luck and stick at it.

Silly girl....core moves such as ab lounging will not whittle your waist. Only a clean diet and cardio can do that. How bout eating a 1500 calorie diet of veggies, fruits, and lean meats mixed with some cardio for about 30 min. such as running or swimming and then some ab lounge in the evening......
There is NO WAY IN HELL that you will lose with sit ups.....sorry

none. There is no such thing as spot reductions or body fat.
Spent your money on a bike or a good pair of walking or running shoes instead.
