Are you pro or anti-nuclear energy? Why or why not? Preferably I wanted to see the points of the other side - Because I'm an anti one; I don't want another technology that will harm the environment.

Cautiously pro. The nuclear power industry does have an extremely good safety record. Chernobyl was a big exception, and was caused by poor engineering, poor maintenance, and poor training. More people die every year mining coal or drilling for oil than have ever died from nuclear power. However, the big unsolved problem is what to do with the nuclear waste. None of the "solutions" dreamed up so far are satisfactory, so until this is solved I would prefer to leave nuclear power alone and investigate other options (solar, wind, tidal, geothermal). These technologies could become cost effective if enough money is put into the necessary research and development.

Nuclear where there is no other choice. Some countries do not have access to enough renewable resources yet -- future technology could help eventually, but we are not there. So in the mean time, nuclear is the best bet.
