yes that is true... everyone who was raised in any type of religion will probably be biased toward that particular religion. If you grew up and all of the people that you loved and respected believed a certain way, it would be very hard to come to believe they were all wrong, whether your Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Jew, or Atheist. Eventually every single person on this Earth will have to make a decision about what they believe, because sooner or later we are all going to meet our maker.

I might add that it would be very foolish to profess any type of faith in any religion including Atheism, based soley on the way you were raised or bias. These types of things need to be searched out and acted upon according to God's leading in your own personal life.

Religion, is the worst thing that ever happened to God.
I grew up in a Catholic church environment. I don't know how people can live in an environment that teaches you that you were born to go to hell that you already have a sin on your ledger just cause you were born Catholic. I've been told that if you weren't Catholic you were gonna go to Hell. According to them all other religions are wrong as wrong as those who don't believe. Christians today don't know anything about Christ any more than they know about Quantum physics. My cousin "in his new religion" was told there was no one on the planet 6000 years ago.
when in fact, 50,000 years ago the entire human population lived in Africa.
Religions are made up by people
People are biased because we aren't perfect
Some of us know this so we don't tell other people how to live or what they must believe in
I believe in God, I don't believe in any religion.
Your question stated "Will you grow up being bias towards
other beliefs or atheism" Christians are tought to be baised AGAINST other religions if they were biased towards, they would be on your side. Religions don't teach tolerance.

No, I was raised Christian until I turned 11. I am now 15 and belong to Kemetic Orthodoxy and Wicca. The Christians showed me what crap they have made, and I got tired of it. Instead of teaching me of God, they taught me that they stole other peoples beliefs in the late 1500s to control peoples minds. The Christians just recently controled my aunt, making her put all of her money in for the church, now she cant buy groceries... I am glad I got out of thier trap before they took my mind too.

Blessed be!!!!

That sort of depends on what kinds of Christians you were raised around, and in what kind of Christian church.

If you are raised around the truth, will you have a bias against error?? The truth sets one free from error and sin and a person that is free doesn't want to go back to the bondage of sin.

I would say that most would have some bias to other religions but how much of one it would depend. I have a bias on the type of shoes I buy.

I grew up to be biased against Christians and a viewpoint I cannot accept. G-d is one, only one. G-d as Jesus is too far fetched for me. And, I am biased that they think their religion is the only way. I became a Jew--------I like it.

Speaking of church, I hope that all of the Christians who answered this question appreciated the minister's sermon in church this morning, and that they learned to be more tolerant and not biased.

I think that all of us are Christians "inside" but we don't know until a certain moment comes...and we choose to follow Jesus Christ or not...
