I am a poor college students that has been working hard and burning myself out. It is time to get away and go on vacation. Where are the best places to go that are inexpensive?

Camping at state parks! Cheap and fun. There is a little initial money for a small tent, sleeping bag, etc., but it's other worldly anywhere you go because it's so outside of the norm. State parks provide nearby getaways so, travel (gas) isn't a big expense!

You need to let people know where you are coming from. For example - if you lived near me, I'd suggest Hawaii. You can get a 7-day trip (including airfare) to Hawaii for under $500....but, if you lived in New York it would cost twice that!

And...what is "cheap"....my idea of cheap is under $500. Your idea of cheap may be under $100. AND....how long do you want to be gone?
