My boyfriend lives in England (where I used to) but now I live in the US. He's been over here all summer to be with me, but now he has to go back for the school year. I don't want to date other people, but I am worried I am going to find myself attracted to them. How can I stay true to my boyfriend when he is overseas?

I think if you really love him, you will stay loyal. I know the feeling you have, because its happened to me, only I was the one that went overseas. There are lots of attractive "fish in the sea", but you have to remember there's a reason you are dating this guy and a reason you love him. Maybe he understands you more than anyone else, etc. Its human nature to be attracted to more than one person, but you can control your urges by being smart and not putting yourself in a position where you might cheat. And if you just can't stop feeling attracted to someone else and you two have something special going on, then there's nothing to really worry about because the new guy might be better for you anyways. I wouldn't worry about it too much, you know yourself. If this guy in England is the one for you, then you won't cheat on him. If you are attracted to someone else, maybe its your conscious telling you he's not the one. Anyhow, just take it easy, stay in touch with your Briton and go with the flow, and always listen to your heart.

I say take it as it comes. If u are meant to be together and u love each other enough you wont b attracted to other ppl if u find that either of u are attracted to someone else over time then its not meant to be. love hurts. what more can u say.

if you really do like him then it will be easy to stay faithful to your boyfriend. If the temptation is too great then maybe you and your boyfriend weren't in love to begin with.

hey, you are in a same sitiation with me. he is in Germany and i'm 5000 km away. after 2 years, maybe it seems impossible that we can be together once again, but i still loves him, though i've lots friends from opposit sex who are trying.... anyway, if the whole come to me and want me to forget my bf, i can't, if he is in your heart, then you'll be unable to let others come in.

if you truly love your boyfriend then you will be faithful. you just need to keep telling yourself that u have 2 be faithful in order to keep your bf.
