it means slowly slowly...damn it reminds me of a really good song.....
btw, it is used in sense of moving slow or doing something slowly....

EX: ahista ahista chalna "walking slowly"
ahista ahista bolna "talking slowly"

It means slowly slowly in Hindi and Urdu.
If translated into english, it would mean slowly ( since the word slowly can not be used repeatidly in english unlike in Hindi and Urdu).

I don't know Urdu or Hindi but it looks like the phrase "Aheste aheste" in Turkish. So now I know we borrowed it from Urdu. Cool!
