yes water is the best drink for living beings its a basic requirement many people think any liquid is just as good as plain water when indeed that is not true at all. Most people dont consume enough water, and our body can only assimilate a few ounces per hour so chugging gallons of water at a sitting is not going to cut it. There is a great book on the subject called "your bodies many cries for water" many people r dehydrated and dont even know it.they have mild dehydration related symptoms everything from headaches to fatigue.
water is a healing fluid, not only internally but also externally as well hot/cold water therapy is used throughout the world, and in spas,it cleanses our skin, and detoxifys both inside and out..water is definately the best!

New testing has stated that a person should have 2 litres of water to drink per day for every 20kg (around 44lbs) that they weigh.

I.E. I weigh around 92lbs, thus I should have just over 2L to drink per day.

You should keep your fluid consumption BELOW 5L per day, as it can wash out and mess up your electrolyte balance, which can put you at risk for a number of health failures.

Drinking water hydrates all of your organs and keeps everything in good shape- you will feel more energised if you drink it and it will add years to your life (drinking water as opposed to junky stuff).

Yes, it is definitely the healthier beverage of the lot and the health benefits you will reap from drinking it are endless.

People in today's society don't generally either don't get enough fluid into them or get the wrong sorts of fluid into them.

Carry a 1L bottle of water with you wherever you go- try to drink at least 2 full bottles of it each day- it will help your blood pressure, thinking abilities, sleeping patterns, skin, hair and nail conditions, salivation, etc.

Listen to gIn401, some companies privatize natural water sources in poor areas like african and peru, and make the people pay to get the water that was theirs in the first place. People have been beaten or even killed while protesting. Get a water filter for your sink, it's better for the world and will probably cost you less in the long run. Water is REALLY good for you, but don't take it from the people who need it most!

True, water is no calories, but so are alot of other "no calorie" drinks (diet iced tea, diet soda, etc). I think when you ask "what is best", you need to consider other things like caffeine, sugar, etc. and your intent. If you are looking for health benefits, yes, water is best (our body is over 70% water), if you are looking for supplemental replacement, gatorade, and alot of the new flavored waters are great - but they do have sugar and calories. Soda has no nutritional benefit to my knowledge, but people drink it because they like it.

At what? For what? To do "what". Your question is a little vague. Are you trying "water" for your diet - did you not have "water" before? Since we humans are 90% "water" anyway - it is required that we use water for our health! We need it! That's all!

I would say yes because see it's about a diet. Cold water burns calories because it takes calories to warm it up to u body temp.

To answer your question, yes. It is our main biological constitution and will remain that way such that the demand for water remains a prime concern.
