Sometimes I think we do. Without incident or provocation I have found myself distant from certain people with whom I was very close to, but hadn't seen in awhile. I was very close to a cousin and when she moved away something happened. Can't explain it, but suddenly we didn't have much to talk about. She would even visit people that lived close to me without stopping by to see me; it was weired. Guess it was just one of those out of sight of mind things and not absence makes the heart grow fonder.

..well I supposed so.. well sometime the best way is to keep in touch and try and not let the friends grow apart as we all grow older.. It is sad to if we have to grow older and friends grow apart, but is part of life, that's why we have "friends forever" without that who knows what happen to all our friends..

Some do. As your interests grow in different directions, you find new friends, and I don't think it's entirely true that if a friend does not remain your friend for life, this person isn't really your friend... some people are meant to be with you through specific periods of your life, and then, through circumstances, you grow apart.

Depends on:
1. How deep the friendship is
2. The age group you're talking about (say if it was going from middle school to high school...yeah there would probably be some changes in opinion and there would be some growing apart going on)

some do, but true friends will never really grow apart. your lives may get busier when you get older but always make time for your true friends.

I think they they do only if they are not acceptable to change. some friends just want to do the same stuff all their life and as you mature you get tired of it. but some friends change with you. so it depends on the friend

normally....yes.
during your childhood...you have more time to hang out with friends...you can be so care free....
but when you get older....the more the responsibility....you might still talk to your good friends...but things just wont be the same as the good old days....
