This unit appears to use data cards to add maps; these can either be programmed by the user (via a USB-based data card programming unit), or purchased preprogrammed. See pages 43,45 and 105 of the user manual at http://www.garmin.com/manuals/GPSMAP276C_OwnersManual.pdf .

nice and slowly... just like you loaded the map for garmin 275...
